Motorola Moto “G73” with a 5G Dimensity-series processor and 120Hz display leaks out – Notebookcheck.net

According to TheTechOutlook, Motorola is now “expected” to launch a new addition to the Moto G line of smartphones soon. The blog asserts that it is the one that leaked previously with the code-name devon, a putative 5G version of the Moto G32.

While this possibly up to 8GB RAM/256GB internal storage “G73” does have a lot in common with that existing handset, it is alleged to have an improved 120Hz refresh rate for its 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD display. In addition, its camera hump has lost a 2MP tertiary shooter, although as it still has more valid 50MP+8MP cameras, this may be no bad thing.

The Moto “G73” also still has a 5,000mAh battery with 30W charging, and will reportedly run Android 13 out of the box. It may also use a Dimensity 930 processor to do so, compared with the 4G/LTE-only Qualcomm platform of the G32.

These new details are accompanied by potentially validating marketing images that suggest G73’s main appeal is bringing dual Dolby Atmos speakers to the ~US$300 price segment, and by another new leak for the supposedly global version of the G53 that asserts it will launch with the same specs as its China-only variant.

Unfortunately, should that be the case, it contradicts an earlier tip pointing to a display upgrade for that international device. TheTechOutlook intimates that both the G73 and G53 will hit markets such as India “soon”.
